It’s Number 39, wow! So welcome to the 39th Tattered Lace Magazine. In this issue you will see the word “Flectere” a bit. So what is Flectere? It is the Latin word meaning “to bend” or “to curve”, think flexible! That is exactly the concept of Flectere dies, they bend, they curve and are very flexible and they make the most beautiful, unusual and extremely clever cards. This fabulous concept was launched at the Craft and Hobby Association show at Phoenix, Arizona 2017 and we really wanted to show you some of the fabulous projects that were headlining there so you could have a go and make it your own. So you can choose from a bit of Romance and of course Butterflies. There are New Babies and the Majestic Bouquet, just divine.

Of course we have a simply delightful FREE gift and it is Esme and Button. A lovely Edwardian lady with her little puppy, very cute indeed. Six gorgeous projects as sweet he/she is, Button isn’t in all the projects making it much more versatile! We also feature the Diamond Top Card die, which lets you make diamond top cards without all the mess and slip ups! The Huggables set of dies are so pretty and the projects really do show how adaptable the dies can be. Finally we have Jacqueline, oozing glamour and style – fabulous darling!

So here’s Issue 38 and welcome. We are really excited about this issue, it isn’t just one thing, it’s lots! So let’s start with the FREE gift: three dies make up the gorgeous Butterfly Dance and we are really delighted that we have right and left facing butterflies.

We have featured Grace and Charles and Daisy and Clara, four fabulous character dies that just ooze everything great about Art Deco. The projects really are brimming with Glitz and Glam! Concept cards have always been a huge favourite and the Offset Side Stepper Card die set, is much coveted! You will love the versatility and ingenuity of the projects. You will also love the Delicate Detail Floral projects. These dies are a first, they have a naivety that is so charming, but packs a real punch when put together with foils, sparkle and exquisite papers. Talking of exquisite, the Autumnal Hedgerow cards are dazzling, great big cards and an ingenious technique – perfect!

The Tiny Tubs are simply adorable and so much fun to make. Still in the Animal Kingdom the Nouveau Peacock is elegant and striking at the same time. As well as all the above, take a look at the Caravan template and the Sakura folding projects, cute and easy to put together. Don’t forget that those lovely papers in the middle are all for you.

What are you waiting for? Happy Crafting!

Welcome to Issue 32, and we are very delighted indeed to welcome you to this fabulous issue because not only do you get a FREE die, you actually get three FREE dies and a CD ROM!  Your free gift this issue is the Charisma Sweet Poppy die set and CD ROM.

Charisma dies are designed to work with print outs from a CD-ROM. The CDs consist of image sheets in lots of different tones, in this case the Sweet Poppy. All you have to do is choose the image sheet, print it out and use the matching dies to cut out the image. No scissors, no tiny pieces to wrestle with. Perfect if you love your decoupage, and you can print out and cut out as many time as you like. There are six lovely projects to inspire you, but we’re sure you will have so many ways to use this great gift!

The rest of the magazine is a pot-pourri of something for the guys, something for the handbag fans, something for the dancers and lots left for all those generic cards and projects that we love to make. The Salsa Couple projects really are very special, making cards full of sassiness! The handbag template can be used to make the best gift bags ever and don’t forget to make the “charm”. The Floral Craft a Card projects show you just how versatile this die set is, perfect for those easy cards.

So get ready for a great read and to plan on getting crafting!

Welcome to the Tattered Lace Magazine Issue 29! First of all, let us introduce you to your brand new FREE die – the Vintage Handbag, and it is so versatile. You can make small cards or large cards with it. You can make shaped cards and clever fold cards with it. It can be used for girly cards or cards for the boys. It can be a border, a lacy lattice or it can even be a handbag! So while we are talking about FREE, the free papers this month are fabulous. They have been chosen to work with the featured dies, but of course these are your papers and you can work with them however you like, that’s crafting!

As spring is in the air, it seemed a good idea to include some projects for wedding. The Wedding Rings die and Wedding Script die are perfect for cards, but also invitations and the whole wardrobe of stationery that is needed. The Rose Bouquet die makes beautiful cards for any time of the year, but will be wonderful for weddings too. The Floral Layers die sets are perfect to allow you to make the most wonderful flowers. Whether you are making paper flowers or fabric flowers, we show you how to make a Lily from both.

You must try the cutest cards with the templates and Bumble Bee die, or add texture with the Border Collection and last, but not least, the Window Scene! Now this is an all year rounder, it is charming and has so much snipability!

Here is Issue 31, and a very creative issue it is indeed! We’re loving the FREE gift this month – the Delicate Gate. Browse through Karen’s six projects, you are going to be able to make lovely cards with this die and a fabulous gift box. The Delicate Gate has a score line on one side, instead of a cut line, this is going to give you even more versatility!

We have more than a dusting of magical mayhem with the Enchanted Castle and Trixie the fairy, together with her best friend Minx who has dropped in on the Enchanted Gate. The cards are adorable and are perfect for all those little pixies of all ages! There is a little romance with the Melded Elegance die set. Put both the dies together to create a striking heart, use the edger die to create a pretty scalloped heart and use the melded die to create a pretty, lacy aperture – we show you how to do them all.

The Teardrop Collection of dies really are impressive and we’re sure that you will be inspired by the cards that Vikki has made. We love the partial cut with the four teardrops, so much so that we really wanted you to see up close, just how easy it is to do this die cutting technique, it is not just for teardrops either! The Ornamental Collection is all about the inside of the card with lovely sentiment, well actually that is not the case at all, because these cards make the most of the sentiments, you must try the very clever circle easel card!

So after all the sparkle and the glamour it is a time for contemplation and the remaining two features are perfect for this. The Praying Hands and the Bible dies have been requested by so many crafters. We do listen and do our best to please.

So, the above, together with the FREE papers and four pages of offers and competition, life is good!

Isn’t she gorgeous, oozing not only glamour, but glitz, charm and fun. There are also some really entertaining dies included in the magazine, from knights to castles (nothing to do with chess!) and dragons to owls. In fact there is a little bit of a fairy tale theme running through the magazine and they are perfect for both girls and boys. The Vintage Ornament has three classic designs that show just how versatile Tattered Lace dies are. Then we visit Mexico and the Dias de los Muertos for a completely different aspect, with the Floral Skull.

Your free papers in this issue have, as usual, been designed to complement your dies. So what are you waiting for? Get those papers out of the magazine and start crafting. It will indeed be a great craft year!

We couldn’t be more excited to feature, not one, but three glorious members of the new Melded Dies Collection. These very special dies, together with their demi-frames, are a new concept that will help you to make the most beautiful cards. The Village Church, Romantic Roses and Anemones are perfect for all of those special occasions.

As well as the Melded dies, we have some very pretty dies in this issue, Beautiful Butterfly, Delicate Basket and Sunflower Doily. A particular favourite is the Sunflower Doily, we love the versatility of this die, just take a look at the projects!

This month’s free gift, Bows and Birds, is such a delightful die and we have included six projects that show off just how versatile it is, and of course, it is another really pretty die! The free papers are also very pretty too, anyone would think that this had been planned! Talking of pretty, you should really try this issue’s template project, the Flower Card, it is adorable. If you have never tried paper folding, then try this, it is very easy to make and looks fabulous.

This issue has a large spoonful of nature scattered throughout the pages along with some fabulous templates to make clever, shaped cards for the chaps who love to do a bit of DIY! Having said that, it would be so easy to change the hobby or theme by using different colours and materials.

I mentioned nature, let me introduce you to the Fox and the Badger. Not only are they really quite cute, they also make gorgeous cards with an aura of the countryside. Talking of which, we also feature the Dragonfly Trios set. I love the texture that the embossing folders give the dragonfly die cuts and I love the colour palette of the projects!

We also have lots of flowers to delight you! The Clematis Trellis die is a very attractive lacy panel that has huge amounts of “snipability” and there is so much you can do with it: on its own, matted onto co-ordinating cardstock, behind an aperture and even “decoupaged”. The Carnation Corner is just as versatile, it makes lovely centrepieces, borders, embellishments and, of course, corners! The Flower Shop does what it says on the tin! This amazing collection of 40 dies is so versatile, and we have three very pretty projects to give you some inspiration. The Feather die is so beautiful and can be used for so many occasions. Finally, try folding a Cherry Blossom flower, it is very easy to do and smaller ones look great on a card. Make some larger ones and make a topiary ball.

Information, inspiration and education has always been our mantra. So with that in mind, pop along to meet the Baby Blue die cutting machine and find out all about this fantastic little machine. We show you top tips and hints to get the most out of the Baby Blue. And to finish, the Free Gift is the Mini Stepper Card die set. It is perfect as a dinky card, a tag, a place setting and so much more. I love that the matting and layering is included. Six inspirational projects using the die set are included, so are 16 free papers, it’s time to get crafting!

Welcome to Tattered Lace Magazine Issue 23, an issue full of fabulous projects, ideas and lots of lovely crafting! So let’s get right to the first of the free gifts! Congratulations! A great big word die that we all need, measuring a whipping 14.5cm x 3.5cm. Perfect for so many occasions and there are six, gorgeous projects to whet the appetite. The free die is exceptional, but there is also the added free gift of the Cut Tidy! Cut Tidy is a fabulous product that, not only makes die cutting easy, but also tidy too! Perfect for batch card making and wedding invitations, to speed up the process. We have included a “How To” as well, so give it a try! There are 29 top notch projects featured in the magazine. The projects feature something for the youngsters, the not so young and something for the boys and the girls! Most of the projects use the free papers of the centre of the magazine. So, peel the Congratulations die from the front of the magazine, carefully take out the free papers and start crafting straight away!

Welcome to the 2nd Tattered Lace Christmas Magazine. There are 30 projects in the magazine to help your Christmas preparations go with a sparkle! Whether it is sending someone an extra special card or perhaps you are doing some batch card-making to send to friends and neighbours, for the Christmas Fairs or to fulfil orders, there is bound to be a project to inspire you.

We have cute, elegant, contemporary, classic and clever projects to share with you. Let's start with your FREE die: the Christmas Bauble! Six fabulous projects using the bauble, loving the different looks that you can make with just a few snips. Red, green and gold is so Christmas. One of my favourites is the Over the Edge Snowflakes, Treeline and Houses die sets, I just love the icy look. Alternatively pop along to the Snowman and Baby Reindeer for a modern but, oh so cute, slant. The Horse and Carriage projects have a touch of the Victorian Christmas about it, but still remains bang up to date. The Snow Globe Double Layer cards will always have the mantelpiece appeal and will be a huge favourite.

The Gingerbread Houses are so sweet! A lovely table decoration and a smaller one to hang on the tree. A "little lane" of houses on the kitchen window sill would look a "treat"! The folded star is probably one of the easiest folding project I have done, yet they look amazing. Another one to pop into garlands or hang in the window. Don't forget there are 16 gorgeous backing papers in the centre of the magazine to take out and start crafting straight away. Whether it is decorations, gift boxes, pressies or cards, there is a project for you. Happy Christmas Crafting!

Welcome to Issue 20 of The Tattered Lace Magazine. This issue has a little bit of a theme running through it, and it is all about the love! Well, actually it is all about heart shapes and the fun and versatility that they provide. We have three outstanding projects using the Heart Essentials die set, including a card for a man, a wedding and a must try, really clever tri-heart shaped card. We show you how to make a heart pocket, a mini envelope from a heart shape and even how to make the most gorgeous flowers from heart shapes too. Also included in this issue is a fabulous six project special featuring the Interchangeable Embossing Folders. There is fun in the sun with the Bucket and Spade die. The Doll's House die is also featured, perfect for New Home cards (and Halloween). We take a look at the festive season with the Charisma Christmas CD ROM and die set, decoupage really has never been so intricate and delicate, yet so easy! I may have left the best to last with the FREE gift! This issue features the Butterfly Magic die. A gorgeous butterfly, nestled between flowers and foliage that make the most delightful flourishes. This is a die that you will use time and time again. Whether it is the focal point for your project, a beautiful addition to frame an aperture, perhaps the foliage snipped away and used to tuck under paper flowers or just the butterfly on its own (and don't forget the butterfly to cover up the odd mistake or two!). This die is not only beautiful but oh so useful. I must not forget the 16 FREE beautiful papers that you can find in the centre of the magazine. I imagine that is one of the first things that you look at. They are excellent as usual.

My welcome to Issue 21 is ... have you seen the free dies? I did say "dies", yes it is plural! So not only is there, possibly one of my favourite dies ever, the stunning and ever so beautiful Long Stemmed Rose die as a free gift for you this issue, but also you are getting another mystery free die too! I really do think the Long Stemmed Rose is a must have. It is elegant and suitable for so many occasions. Perfect for scrapbooking. It will be wonderful for home decor - try cutting it from plastic, it will make a beautiful stencil. Perhaps you are a cake decorator too, keep the die just for food use and make impressive wedding, engagement, anniversary, birthday and everything else in between cakes. I could go on. We have a touch of Charisma wafting through the magazine: Poppies and Hydrangea and also the most adorable Teddies to give the "Awww Factor". It's not all about summer florals though, we have a touch of winter with the Christmas Owls; they are bound to make you smile! It's not all pretty, pretty either, the Pocket Watch and Clocks Embossing Folders are having a showing together and you won't be disappointed.

Welcome to Issue 22, packed full of education, information and inspiration. There are 30 gorgeous projects in this magazine! You may be new to Tattered Lace dies or even paper crafting, so this will give you easy to follow step by steps to try. Perhaps you are a seasoned paper crafter, but a little idea from one project, put together with a little something else from another project gives you a brand new look! Alternatively, you could be having one of those “blank” days, I have them all the time, we call it “losing my Mojo”! A flick through the magazine could be all you need to get that Mojo up and running!

So what is in this issue? Your FREE die is the sweetest little dress, with six projects to spur you on. Just snip into the die cuts and get different styles, we have made a start on that. As well as the FREE die, we are featuring an “Essentials” die set. The Circle Stepper and the Diamond Lattice, the projects are gorgeous. There is a touch of Romance and Peace with the beautiful and very versatile Tapestry dies, the projects for these are particularly stunning. The Blossoming Archway is delightful and the Charisma Rossa Fairy, adds sparkle and a touch of magic to the proceedings.

Never be without a butterfly again for those times when the project you are working on, goes a little bit “wrong”. You can always fold one from a bit of paper! Have a go at the folding project this issue, it is fun and so very useful. We also have two templates to share with you. As well as the Side Diamond Fold template there is also a cute picnic basket template that will allow you to make great gifts or gift boxes.

Well, here we are with Issue No. 19! Straight to your FREE die set, aren't Scamp and Tiddles just the cutest? These lovely dies really make you smile and we have loved working with them. Along with some great projects for using Scamp and Tiddles, there are another 24 projects that do not include doggies and kitties! Our designers have done a fabulous job. This issue has something for children with the Nursery Rhymes, something for the chaps with the Lorry and Dumper Truck and something for those that love a touch of magic (or horses!) with the Unicorn. You can Build an Arch, indulge yourself with the Broderie Collection, or try a bit of sticking, gluing and folding to create sweet little boxes. Or how about a little bit of Home Decor? In the centre of the magazine you will find 16 beautiful papers, ready for you to lift out and to get crafting with straight away.

Welcome to 2015 and welcome to Tattered Lace Issue 14. What an issue it is! We have been working on a re-vamp in the last couple of months to make a bigger and better magazine. So first, and arguably, the best news, is that the gorgeous papers will now consist of 16 pages.

You may also see that we have increased the step by steps so we can include more involved projects. The look and feel is ever so slightly different, but all for the good. What does remain the same is you will still get a free die every issue.

So, what can you expect from this issue. Well we are introducing you to the Multisize Panorama Dies and their companions! You have got to try the Heartfelt Tapestry, pure opulence and the Monumental Moments.

So, we’re at issue 13 and isn’t this a corker! The free die, Georgina is just gorgeous. She will lend a touch of class to your work and the die is so versatile. Don’t forget the additional mat die that comes with Georgina to create beautiful layering on your cards.

As for the "new", let us introduce you to the Trent die set, perfect for statement pieces and those large makes, but don't forget, cut into the die cuts and make it your own. We have also included the Eltham die set, it is so fancy, filigree and a delight to work with.

This month's free gift is a lovely size, perfect for making lace panels in your cards and projects and it will be one that I know I will use over and over again. So, settle down, have a flick through, then go back to the beginning and decide which project you would like to try first!

Summer is within my grasp! So with that in mind, have a browse through one of the new Tattered Lace Collections, Country garden. Reminiscent of those lovely cottage gardens that we love so much. Say hello to the Haddon 3 in 1 die, part of the latest Elegance Collection, and to three very sophisticated projects to try. How about taking a ride in a Camper Van back to the 70's, learning how to get so many different styles using the Corset die, or sharing the magic with Fairy Tinks. These together with Sentiments 2014, the Primrose Flourish and the very stylish Bloomsbury make up the 29 projects and ideas included in this issue. Don't forget the free papers, brand new and designed especially for this issue. So I shall leave you to your reading, cutting and creating.
